The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on September 25, 2026, issued Draft TRAI Direction on Registration, Allocation, Monitoring, Traceability and Regulatory Enforcement relating to SIP/PRI Telecom Resources, DID Numbers and Bulk Mobile Resources.
The following has been stated: -
•TRAI has proposed a Draft Direction to strengthen registration, allocation, monitoring and traceability of SIP/PRI resources, DID numbers and Bulk Mobile Resources to prevent their misuse for originating UCC.
•BSE Clearing members may submit comments or views directly to TRAI by September 30, 2026, in the prescribed format.
•Members are advised to take note of the Draft Direction and its regulatory implications.
